Description
2014 is supposedly the year of Sailor Moon's return to anime so I wanted to do at least one piece of fan art in honor of that. Like many anime fans in the US and or around the world, I think Sailor Moon probably started it all for them when local TV stations broadcasted it. I still remember the days when I'd have to run to school just to make it in time because UPN 57 would show episodes each weekday morning right around the time I normally left to walk to school.
But anyway, here's my take on my favorite of the inner senshi - Sailor Jupiter! It was a toss up between her and Mercury of whom I wanted to draw so I may have to do Mercury too... hell, I might do all the inner senshi for a complete set. I'll put a poll up to see what people think.
Sailor Moon also helped inspire me to start drawing. I wish I still had some of my older sketches to compare with what I can do today. It'd be fun to see how far I've come from those day.
